NETLAW.NET was founded by Guerry R. Thornton, Jr.,
who is President and CEO. NETLAW is headquartered in
Atlanta, and Mr. Thornton is a member of the State Bar
of Georgia, and admitted to all state and federal
courts. The firm handles matters related to negligence,
mass torts, malpractice, asset protection, consumer and
international law.
NETLAW also has affiliate offices and associates in
other countries, including: Paris, France; Dublin,
Ireland; and Moscow. NETLAW has organized an American
law consultancy to evaluate and handle litigation claims
and asset protection law for foreigners and expatriates
in Europe and Russia.
Guerry R. Thornton, Jr., earned his B.A. degree in
1972 from the University of the South, Sewanee, TN,
where he served in the General Assembly and as associate
editor of the school literary magazine. After graduating
from college, he earned his Juris Doctor from Emory
University School of Law in Atlanta. He then served as
an assistant law clerk for the U. S. District Court in
the Southern District of Georgia. In 1985 he was Of
Counsel to Barnett & Alagia, a large national law firm,
afterwhich he started his own firm.
As to his public service activities, he has
published articles in: Trial Magazine; the National Law
Journal; Norton's Bankruptcy Law Reporter; The
Barrister; The Advocate; and, Mealey's Litigation
Reporter. He has been featured on CNN, Larry King Live,
The Today Show, and cited as a legal expert by The New
York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Solicitor's
Journal, a law publication in London, England. He has
conducted and spoken at seminars for lawyers and
consumers in many jurisdisctions, including Vancouver;
San Juan, Puerto Rico; Dublin, Ireland; London; Miami,
Florida; San Diego, California; and, other cities in the
USA and abroad.
Notable cases handled by Mr. Thornton or in
association with affiliate law firms, include: Golden
Dolphin Maritime Disaster ($690,000 wrongful death
award); Dupont Plaza Hotel Fire Disaster ($1.2 million
recovery); Peachtree Fire Case ($5.0 million recovery);
The $2.5 billion Dalkon Shield Compensation Plan ($60
million in total awards for 900+ claimants); The $4.5
billion Diet Drug Compensation Plan ($2.3 million in
recoveries as of 5/15/05); claims related to the
Breast Implant litigation; and, injury actions which arise from the 1996 Olympic Park Bombing case; He has also achieved notable
results in defective product, malpractice, consumer and
business dispute cases.

Guerry R. Thornton, has served as a project manager
or board member for public service organizations,
